The University of Kansas Boathouse is a 16,000 square foot facility located next to the Kansas River at the north end of Burcham Park. This is an all concrete structure with a foundation extending more than 40 feet below the ground. This building was designed to sustain flooding due to its location on the Kansas River. This was a GMP Project in which First Management saved the Owner nearly $300,000. The Boathouse was completed for the KU Rowing team in the Spring of 2009.
Jardine Common Area

First Construction, LLC completed the Kansas State University, Jardine Apartments, Building Number 5, Tenant Improvement. The project space consists of a coffee shop, C-store, bar, banquet room and full service kitchen within 7,940 square feet. Jardine No. 5 received LEED Gold status. This tenant improvement will prove to be a stepping stone for future LEED projects in the area to come.
K-State Child Development Center
First Management currently finished constructing a new $5 million, 32,000 square foot Child Development Center at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. This new Child Development Center will has enough room to care for more than 70 children on-campus.

First Construction was the Construction Manager on Phoenixville Medical Office Building, located adjacent to the campus of the Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. One of the keys of this project was that the hospital remains fully functional throughout the construction process. This was accomplished by coordination with the hospital CEO, staff, and subcontractors. The 45,000 square foot building has three floors, occupied by several different medical practices. Recently completed was tenant finish for a Breast Cancer Center. The MOB also has a conference center with a catering area used by the Hospital for staff seminars, and a board room used for Hospital officer and board meetings.
