Boathouse

The University of Kansas Boathouse is a 16,000 square foot facility located next to the Kansas River at the north end of Burcham Park. This is an all concrete structure with a foundation extending more than 40 feet below the ground. This building was designed to sustain flooding due to its location on the Kansas River. This was a GMP Project in which First Management saved the Owner nearly $300,000. The Boathouse was completed for the KU Rowing team in the Spring of 2009.
